Inspired Datome leads Milan past Valencia
AX Armani Exchange Milan blasted past Valencia Basket with a convincing 95-80 to solidify its position in the playoffs places and claim the head to head advantage between the teams. The home side raced into a 54-36 half-time lead behind outstanding long-range shooting, and maintained that advantage throughout the third quarter. Valencia briefly pulled the deficit back to single digits in the final period, but Milan raced clear again to ease home. Luigi Datome rolled back the years to score a joint career-high 27 points on 6-of-8 three-point shooting. Malcolm Delaney added 17 points on 4-of-6 from beyond the arc, while Kevin Punter scored 14 and Zach LeDay had 13. Derrick Williams paced Valencia with 17 points and 5 steals, with Nikola Kalinic netting 15 and Klemen Prepelic scoring 12. Milan improves to 11-7, and Valencia is now 10-9.

Cam Akers at Packers (Sat. 4:35 p.m. ET, FOX): Akers went bananas last week, scoring a league-high 25.6 fantasy points among running backs. His supposed high ankle sprain wasn’t an issue, as Akers saw 30 touches and a ridiculous 55 percent touch share. The rookie should continue to be a bell cow in the Divisional Round, and Green Bay has struggled against runners. In fact, their defense allowed 19 total scores and the fifth-most fantasy points to running backs during the regular season. Look for Akers to be heavily involved again this week.

Tom Brady at Football Team (Sun. 6:40 p.m. ET, FOX): Brady has been on fire over the last month, scoring 23-plus fantasy points in four straight games and 21-plus points in five of his last six. Next up is a date against another future Hall of Famer, Drew Brees, and a Saints team that allowed more than 20 points to Brady in their first meeting of the season in New Orleans. DK Sportsbook has the over/under in this game at 51.5, so it should be a barnburner.

Divisional Round Weekend Start ‘Em: Defenses
Packers D/ST vs. Rams (Sat. 4:35 p.m. ET, FOX): The Packers D/ST figures to be one of the top options at the position this weekend. That’s based on a favorable matchup against the Rams and their quarterback, Jared Goff, who is playing with a surgically repaired thumb. Their passing game produced just 169 yards against the Seahawks too, so Green Bay’s defense has the advantage.
